Warning! Imminent impact of guitarist, bassist, drummer, and singer all rocked into one. No background tapes, rhythm machines or samplers in sight, just a guitar, 10 trained fingers, his hands, legs and vocal pipes. That is all this fifth generation music pro needs to get an audience off their seats.
Petteri began playing guitar aged seven, and more than 600 gigs around Finland and abroad have moulded him into a virtuoso player, as well as an energy-packed entertainer. His percussive style of guitar playing is an intoxicating mix of instrument sounds, styles, tunings and playing techniques. Only a handful of guitarists in the world have mastered it. It is a combination that wakes up audiences in concerts, festivals and local bars alike.
Petteri's debut album 'Silence!' (Plastinka Records 2007) also revealed him as a versatile composer, adding melodic ballad instrumentals and captivating songs to his crackling trademark guitar storms.
Petteri has long been a favoured performer at Northern European guitar festivals. Japan's biggest and oldest indie, King Records, spotted Petteri on YouTube, and released his debut record in March 2008. For autumn 2007 Petteri joined the 10th Anniversary tour of vocal group Rajaton for 32 concerts as special guest and accompanist. In 2008, he toured in Germany, Italy, Austria and Japan. His second album 'Phases' is going to be released on the 7th of October 2009 in Finland, and in spring 2010 in Japan as well.
